Drumafeva

Argh! My cough is back to haunt me. Ewwww. Bah, forget about it.

Had a great Saturday with the drums, i fell in love with our church drum! =D Did a super duper last minute revision for SoD test. Hahahaha.

Ok, today was another great day, forget about the test, it spoils my mood, so many careless mistake. But, today I hear Pastor Nettie preach for the first time. She's abit mono, but her preaching was great though. So after service and lunch, went back to have a tedious workout cleaning the cymbals. Ah, Amos found someone to replace him cleaning the cymbals and no it's not easy! So after cleaning the cymbals, I fellowship with the drums again. And Kor kor Eric said that when the day comes and I'm going to play the drums, he will have headache because, he said i am a noisy drummer, in a sense that I'm playing very loud like Aaron. :(

I want to get a drum set for myself! Anyone wanna sponsor me? =x I'll be really glad. Hahaha.
Ok, I'm tired~ I guess i need to sleep. Ciaos!

What??

Take this for example, An elderly person saw you taking too much soft drinks, and she tell you all the cons about soft drink and tells you how much she had suffered drinking too much soft drinks. And she wants you to stop drinking it for a period of time to kick that soft drink habit, and guess what? She's drinking soft drink heavily in the public even though she is warning people not to take too much soft drinks.

What wrongs with this world? I'm just letting what I think out. I'm just using that example to replace what i want to say. Don't guess, you'll never know who it is and don't bother asking =).

Not Raffles hotel, it's Hotel Rwanda.

Well well, the church screen a show Hotel Rwanda today. It's a real account of a battle between the Hutu and the Tutsi. I couldn't believe that it happened in 1994 because Man had already reach to quitea a civilised status at the time, and how could such still happen in the 1990s.

The part the knock sense into me was that, when the reporter apologised to Paul, and he said the people will not do anything because when they see the video on the news. (The video is a footage of the Tutsis being hacked or something like that by the Hutu's) They would just go "Oh my God, that's so horrible" and continue eating their dinner. I got to admit, I think I fall into that category. I started to think, maybe I could do something, so what is it? I'm too small to do something big? The smallest of the smallest thing would help, Prayer is one of the most important one.

The part the hurt me the most, was when Paul was in the bar with the General, and the General said, the intervetion troops will have to withdraw from Rwanda because it doesn't worth them even a vote and the part that hurt most was, "Because you are an African, and you're not even a nigger" Imagine someone said that to your face. How would you feel?

The part the disgust me was, when the troops are leaving, they evacuated the foregins into the bus so that they could be safe, refusing to grant any Tutsis an escape route from the Hutu army. Mind you, i saw a dog in the bus, and the first thing that portrait to me was that, thye are politically treated worst the animals.

The part that will always leave be on my mind, was that Paul was in a van back to the hotel, and when they couldn't see the road properly because of the heavy fog, and the van started to shook violently, imagine driving a car across hundreds of humps. And instead, of humps, those were the bodies of the dead Tutsis, like Paul, I would have definatly freak out and i think i will drop dead from shock straightaway.

One thing to tell you about the show, Buy it, it will worth every single cents and tear.

The Agape Xbox Craze =)

Lets see what happen yesterday, went for drumming lesson with Aaron, and he taught me alot of the "tau gae" (bean sprout), Ok, it's actually music lyrics. So I was like a robot that goes, 1,2,3,4 non-stop. But i like! Heeeheee, drumming rocks. =] Then head for youth, and Mr.Matthew totally lame us out. I'm still having the "image" of the chicken chop. Hahahaha. So after youth, we went to Doby Ghout. Ahhh, to eat. Went to Yamaha and had a few QnA. So 89.25 for the 1st 6 months, then 97.50 for next 9 months, then 120.25 for the next 12 months. Hmmm, that would lead me to 2 years and a half years, by the time i finish the courses, I'm going to be shaved botak!

Ok, after QnA, we went to play, Xbox =D And I'm wondering why girls play motorcars and they have to sway with the cars (Angela and Lydia) Hahaha. And Aaron Lai not wong, slept throughout the 3 hours or so. --; And numbed Kenneth played expressionless starwars with Lydia. I didn't play much of soccer! I'm addicted to burnout3! Ah, gonna get that game when i have my hands on my free xbox =D.

Ok, 1 more hours more to be in church so cya!

Yawns!

Well, well, today i had a hair cut. Ahhh.. my hair is still long but less thick, so the spikes are back.
What a satisfactory day, I can feel that the dry spells are going away and the fire is coming back. My stupid mp3 is still down and i'm too lazy to change a new one or have it repaired, and i need to go collect my xbox and then have it modified. Wah Laa, Interesting day, so much was spoken to me, if fact the book answered most of my question that i don't dare to ask.

So, tomorrow would be? I don't know, i need to go down Yamaha and register myself there =) I need to go make my student ez-link card too. School are finally going to start in two months, and it means church camp is coming! Can't wait to go to my first church come.

I finally found myself a new hobby, cleaning the toilet! hahaha! I just love the satisfaction i get by shrubbing the toilet squeeky clean! Muhaha! Maybe, thats my future job? Who knows? I may make a million out of it. FAT HOPE! haha.

Sunday

Ok, lets see I had a pleasant Sunday. The service was about mother's day, but I think it's beneficial for all. So, after the service, I went to the washroom, and who did I see? Mr. Kenneth, and after looking at the mirror, he said to the mirror, "You're gorgeous " I almost puke. Hahaha, he is just trying to put was he learn into practice I guess. Play with Ian, he's getting cuter and he is losing that moody mood swing. Hahaha, aww.. Can't wait to teach him in children church. Muhaha!

So went to ps to play xbox, gosh, I accidentally step on my infected toe and it begin to bleed. I guess I really need to go op, to have that in grown toe nail take off. Grrr, was of $$ and was of blood. Hahaha.

Lizhu lent me a absolutely fabulous book. And now, know how much i fear God.

Christians display a lack of fear when they,

  • Continually use God's name in vain
  • Deliberately sin, expecting God to forgive them
  • View worship, prayer, tithing, studying God's word and commitment to the church as option for the Christian.
  • Appoach God in worship with a flippant attitude

So do you fear God?

Ironic Ironning

Back to blogging, been slacking from blogging time and again. So now, manage to get use to my new life, was as tough as i expected. Well, one major hurdle would be ironning, I got to admit ironning isn't as easy as it seems. I got scald while ironning *ouchs*. Ironning a set of school uniform alone would take 30 minutes, cause I'm still a noob to it. I hate it.

And my damn toe, had this little infection. So 2 weeks past and it not recovery, went to see the doc and he said my toe nail grow inwards and if my leg doesn't recover in 3-4days. I would be heading to the hospital for surgery. What the crap? I just clip my nails wrongly and unfortuanetly it had to be step by a pair of soccer boots the next days. And it grew infectious and if it doesn't recover soon enough, the doc said i may lose my toe. I'm like WHAT? Are you kidding?

Bah, Please pray that God heals my leg. I don't to get my toe op neither i want it to be chop off :(

Farewell, Aunty Esther

Yesterday was a painful day, It started off at 8am, Was having breakfast with my maid for the last time, almost teared but managed to control it. So while she's doing the last pack up, i saw her sobbing inside the room, the grit broke, and i started tearing. Tried to cover up by washing my face just to look brave. But sooner of later, i can't control it anymore, i started sobbing alone in my room, took me awhile before i brace myself to send her to my uncle's car. Took a cab to the airport and said my last goodbye. That goodbye was a teary one, tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably. Took a last look at her and said goodbye. She told me to behave myself and stop argueing wif my brother. My heartbroke as i turn away.

Went to church straight and met Matthew, i couldn't keep my mind not thinking of Aunty Esther, after 1hour of drum lesson, it was time for youth. I guess i shocked the youth, when i teared halfway. Sorry for scaring you guess, really didn't mean to.

Went home, couldn't sleep, so i went into her room and sit there for a moment, recalled 17 years of teaching, caring, caning, scolding. I couldn't do anything but sob my hearts out this time. Felt so much better.

I don't know why, I'm just felt I am missing something in myself, it's the worst feeling i ever had, though i still could joke around, my heart is nevertheless tearing. I guess i just need time.

Lord, I really need your comfort Lord, I can't stand this feeling of pain anymore, Hold me in your arms oh God, I pray that you will heal my emotional being oh Lord, I pray you would bless Aunty Esther oh Lord, Grant her all her need oh Lord. In Jesus Name i Pray.
